We Built the Product System Behind Enterprise Carbon Action

Filson's platform had to serve very different needs at once: banks needed trust, sustainability teams needed clarity, operators needed structured data, and users needed climate action to feel simple enough to complete. At the same time, the product had to handle large-scale enterprise data while remaining understandable and credible.

We transformed that complexity by redesigning dashboards, marketplace, offsetting, transactions, emissions data, calculators and reporting as one connected product system—so every module felt like part of the same enterprise experience, not a collection of separate tools.

We turned the dashboard into a clearer command center for impact, emissions activity, offset progress and project performance, helping users understand what had been emitted, what had been offset and where action was needed next.

We also redesigned carbon offsetting around verified projects, impact visibility, offset amount, payment and reporting—so the experience moved beyond a dry transaction and became a more guided, tangible climate-action flow.

In climate fintech, the product has to do more than look modern. Banks and enterprise teams need confidence in the data, reporting and actions they are taking, so clarity, structure and transparency became core parts of the experience.

We redesigned transactions, event emissions, freight calculations and reporting around stronger hierarchy and more understandable data—allowing the platform to handle complex climate logic without exposing that complexity directly to users.

What began as a focused redesign of the dashboard and offset flow grew into a broader transformation across 100+ screens. Working closely with the Fils team through continuous feedback and regular reviews, we built a shared design system across dashboards, tables, filters, forms, charts, marketplace, reporting, transactions and tenant branding.

The result was a more coherent enterprise carbon platform—clearer for sustainability teams, more credible for banks, and built to scale across future multi-tenant rollouts without redesigning every module from scratch.
